A Matter of Justice tells the story of a mother's courageous battle to win back custody of her murdered son's daughter and to bring those responsible for his murder to justice. Screen legend Patty Duke shines in her performance as she conducts this unbelievable story that is based on real events in the life of the now deceased Mary P Brown. The talented and absolutely beautiful Alexandra Powers portrayed the all too convincing Jezebel Dusty, who orchestrated the murder of her husband played by actor Jason London, by the hands of her psycho marine boyfriend played by 2 Fast 2 Furious star, Cole Hauser. Other well known actors such as Martin Sheen, Charles S Dutton and Jeff Kober delivered A+ plus performance.
I considered A Matter of Justice to be one of the greatest Lifetime movies ever made. That being said there are a lot of dramatic licenses that are taken to make the movie very appealing in a dramatic sense.
