Dangerous Intuition

DANGEROUS INTUITION revolves around Kate Aldrich (Tricia Helfer), a successful career woman who is devastated when her husband leaves her for stay at home mom, Laura (Estella Warren) with whom she is forced to share joint custody of her daughter Izzy.

“DANGEROUS INTUITION will connect with a wide audience, from the working mom to the stay at home mother as well as the many women who have experienced mother’s intuition themselves. We had an incredibly talented cast and crew and had the pleasure of working with multiple academy award winner, Roger Christian who directed the film” said writer/producer Roma Roth. “I think every woman will be able to identify and root for Tricia Helfer’s character. I’ve been blessed to be able work with such skilled actors to help me bring this story to life. We are thrilled to be premiering Dangerous Intuition on Lifetime.”

As the story evolves, Kate begins to have intense premonitions that her daughter, Izzy (Genea Charpentier) is in danger, but everyone around her believes that she is simply a disgruntled ex-wife and attributes her terrifying visions to a relapse of the breakdown she suffered when her husband Dan (David Cubitt) left her. As the premonitions escalate Kate becomes convinced that Laura is a threat to her daughter.

Kate’s only confidant and ally is her attorney and long-time friend Hugh, played by Dylan Neal (BONES, 90210, RIZZOLI & ISLES) who tries to help her retain joint custody of her daughter, Izzy. But even Hugh begins to question Kate’s increasingly erratic behavior and as the visions escalate Kate begins to believe that maybe everyone is right - that is until she thinks she’s found evidence that leads her to believe that Laura may not be the perfect wife and mother after all. But is Kate simply an overprotective mother or are her visions really premonitions?

“We were fortunate to have such a well written, original script and talented cast. DANGEROUS INTUITION is the perfect Mother’s Day movie,” said director Roger Christian. “Every mother will relate to the story as they all experience a psychic connection with their children and worry for their safety.”

The story will resonate with audiences worldwide because premonitions are a global phenomenon that men and women of all ages will be able to identify with.

A Dangerous Life- Benigno Aquino Assassination

A Dangerous Life is a 1988 English-language Australian film about the final years of the Philippines under Ferdinand Marcos' rule, from the assassination of Benigno Aquino, Jr. in 1983 to the People Power EDSA Revolution in 1986 that ousted Marcos. The film focuses on American TV journalist (Gary Busey), who finds himself in the middle of key events that lead to the downfall of the Marcos regime. Originally airing on television as a mini-series that ran for a total of six hours, the film was edited to 162 minutes for the home video release.

The film was shot on location in Sri Lanka, mostly due to hostilities the producers experienced in Manila while filming The Year of Living Dangerously in 1982.

A Moment to Remember

The first segment of the film introduces the protagonists, a woman named Su Jin and a man named Chul Soo. The movie highlights their accidental meeting, followed by their subsequent courting despite the social standings that should have kept them apart. Kim Su-Jin is a 27-year-old fashion designer, spurned by her lover, a colleague who was also a married man. Depressed, she goes to a convenience store, where she bumps into a tall, handsome man with whom she has a slight misunderstanding. Following that, she returns home and, receiving her father's forgiveness, decides to start life afresh.

One day while accompanying her father, who is the head of a construction site, she coincidentally meets the man whom she earlier bumped into at the convenience store. He is Choi Chul-Soo, the construction site's foreman who is aiming to become an architect. Chul-Soo may appear like a rough and dirty construction worker initially, but exudes sheer masculinity in its most basic physical form. Su-Jin instantly takes a liking to Chul-Soo and in what is a refreshing change, actively courts him. There are many sweet events that take place in the occurrence of their courtship, eventually leading to their marriage.

The second segment follows the couple settling into married life. Su-Jin learns to be a housewife as her husband cares for her. As the segment progresses however, Su-jin begins to display forgetfulness, including an incident in which a fire breaks out because of a forgotten stove. While Chul Soo caught the fire in time, the seriousness of the incident and others like it draw them to seek medical help.

The third segment involves the revelation of Alzheimer's disease and the couple's consequent response to it. Su Jin is heavily burdened by the knowledge that she will forget her husband and hides it from him until he seeks advice from the doctor himself. Despite the disease, they make the commitment to stay together and as the disease progresses, the trials the couple go through increase because of Su Jin's consistent loss of memory.

The fourth segment reveals Su-jin in the final stages of the disease and the grief Chul Soo experiences because of it. Yet he remains beside her, despite her lost memory, hiding his eyes behind sunglasses when he visits her so she can't see his tears. The end of the movie finishes off with Chul Soo replaying the first time they met in the convenience store with all her friends and family there. In the final scene, Su-jin is riding beside her husband in the car in the sunset, and he can finally tell her, "I love you."

My Husband's Lover- Pinoy TV Drama

I do not watched Filipino TV drama. But my wife is an avid viewer for the last decade. Currently, her favorite is Be Careful with my Heart. Because of the publicity and objections of the Catholic Church, the newest TV soap opera described below attracted my wife's and also my attention. My congratulations to GMA network for developing this first gay-themed series in conservative Philippines. I have heard through the grape vine that this new series is now as popular as the Be Careful with my Heart TV program.

My Husband's Lover is a Filipino drama television series created and developed by Suzette Doctolero and produced by GMA Network. It premiered on June 10, 2013 replacing Love & Lies on the network's coveted Primetime block, and June 11, 2013 worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. The series stars Carla Abellana, Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo as the main characters. Carolyn Galve serves as the executive producer of show and Dominic Zapata directed the series.

It is credited as the very first gay-themed series in Philippine television due to the series' central subject of homosexual relationships and infidelity. The show has multiple continuing story lines that tackle sensitive yet relevant social issues like homosexual and bisexual relationships, homophobia and the society's discrimination against homosexuals, infidelity, pre-marital sex and the consequences of early or unplanned marriages. It also tackles the importance of family, friendship, integrity and love. The forty-five minute scripted drama chronicles the life of a woman, who belatedly discovers that her husband has been carrying on an affair, but not with another woman.

My Husband's Lover tells the story of Vincent (Tom Rodriguez) who got his girlfriend Lally (Carla Abellana) pregnant while they were still in college. They decided to get married even if Vincent's mother Elaine (Kuh Ledesma) was very much against it. Thus Lally's married life was never smooth-sailing because of Elaine. But for the love for her husband, Lally endures the hardships in dealing with her mother-in-law.

However, when Lally got pregnant on their second child, Vincent suddenly became distant and cold towards her. Lally felt that Vincent was being unfair to her so she decided to leave together with their children. Vincent loves his kids so much, so he tried to win back his wife by proposing and this time getting married again with a blessing from the church.

Lally and Vincent's married life became better after the church wedding. But unknown to Lally, Vincent is keeping a secret from her - a secret he kept from everyone else ever since he was young.

He is a closeted gay.

He kept his secret hidden for so long, afraid that he'll destroy his family. However, everything changes when he meets Eric (Dennis Trillo) again. Eric was and still Vincent's great love. But unlike Vincent, Eric is openly gay and he is still in love with Vincent as well. Because of their strong feelings for each other, they started having an affair.

Vincent tries to hide the affair from Lally by showering her with gifts and attention. However, Lally's intuition tells her that something is wrong even though everything in her married life seems fine. That's when she started to investigate. She eventually learned of Vincent's darkest secret.

Will Lally give up on her husband or will she fight for her marriage? Will Vincent choose Eric over his family or will he stay with his wife and children?

A Matter of Justice

A Matter of Justice tells the story of a mother's courageous battle to win back custody of her murdered son's daughter and to bring those responsible for his murder to justice. Screen legend Patty Duke shines in her performance as she conducts this unbelievable story that is based on real events in the life of the now deceased Mary P Brown. The talented and absolutely beautiful Alexandra Powers portrayed the all too convincing Jezebel Dusty, who orchestrated the murder of her husband played by actor Jason London, by the hands of her psycho marine boyfriend played by 2 Fast 2 Furious star, Cole Hauser. Other well known actors such as Martin Sheen, Charles S Dutton and Jeff Kober delivered A+ plus performance.

I considered A Matter of Justice to be one of the greatest Lifetime movies ever made. That being said there are a lot of dramatic licenses that are taken to make the movie very appealing in a dramatic sense. If you would like to know more about the fact behind some of the fiction of the movie go to http://amatterofjusticeakafinaljustic.... There you will find loads of information on the real life Kathy Brown, Dusty and what happen after justice was handed out.

Plain Truth

An unexpected ending to this movie--Enjoy this movie very, very much. The title of the Movie is Plain truth not Unfaithful.

The book tells the story of how a dead infant found on an Amish farm shakes the entire community. As the police investigate the death, they discover that the baby was not stillborn, but died shortly after birth. Police find cloth fibers in the infant's mouth and throat, including bruises on the mouth, which leads them to conclude that he was suffocated. An eighteen-year-old, unmarried Amish girl, Katie Fisher, is charged with murder of her new-born son, but denies ever being pregnant. Ellie Hathaway, a top defense lawyer and a distant relative of Katie, reluctantly accepts the case after a confrontation with her aunt (the relative who connects her with Katie by marriage). As part of the bail conditions of the pre-trial hearing, Ellie has to remain on the farm with Katie prior to the trial—a period that lasts several months. A doctor determines that the infant was born prematurely and could have died from natural causes due to listeriosis, a bacterial infection which Katie contracted from constantly drinking pasteurized milk from their Amish farm.. During that time, Ellie begins a relationship with her former lover Coop (a legal psychologist whom she trusts with Katie's interviews), whom she had previously left years before. On the first day of Katie's trial, Ellie finds out she is pregnant with Coop's baby. Coop asks Ellie to marry him immediately, but she defers. After the jury deliberates for several days, Katie cops a plea and is sentenced to one year of electronic monitoring, allowing her to stay at the farm while wearing an electronic bracelet. Katie's mother, Sarah Fisher, gives Ellie the scissors which have been used to cut the umbilical cord, revealing that she knew Katie was pregnant and had gone to her the night she gave birth, though Katie didn't know it. Ellie has an ethical obligation as an attorney to provide this evidence to the police, but opts not to, based on Sarah's plea to her—mother to mother. The novel ends with Coop picking up Ellie at the farm to begin their life together.

Ethan Hawke-Gattaca

In "the not-too-distant future", liberal eugenics is common and DNA plays the primary role in determining social class. Vincent Freeman is conceived and born without the aid of this technology. He has a high probability of developing mental disorders, is myopic, has a heart defect, and his projected life expectancy is only 30.2 years. His parents initially placed their faith in natural conception and now regret it; Vincent's younger brother, Anton, is conceived with the aid of genetic selection. Anton surpasses his older brother in many aspects including in a game that they call "chicken": both swim out to sea, and the first to give up and swim back to shore is the loser. Anton always wins due to his superior physical stamina. Vincent dreams of a career in space but is constantly reminded of his genetic inferiority. Later as young adults Vincent challenges Anton to the game of chicken. This time it is Vincent who pulls ahead while Anton runs into trouble and begins to drown. Vincent saves him, then leaves home shortly thereafter.

Due to frequent screening, Vincent faces genetic discrimination and prejudice. The only way he can achieve his dream of becoming an astronaut is to become a "borrowed ladder", a person who impersonates a "valid" with a superior genetic profile.[2] He assumes the identity of Jerome Eugene Morrow, a former swimming star with a genetic profile "second to none", who had been injured in a car accident, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. Vincent "buys" Jerome's identity and uses his "valid" DNA in blood, hair, tissue, and urine samples to pass screening. To keep his identity hidden, he must meticulously groom and scrub down daily to remove his own genetic material. With Jerome's genetic profile Vincent gets accepted into the Gattaca Aerospace Corporation, the most prestigious spaceflight conglomerate, with a DNA test being the entire interview process. He becomes Gattaca's top celestial navigator and is selected for a manned spaceflight to Saturn's moon Titan. A week before Vincent is to leave on the one-year mission, one of Gattaca's administrators is found bludgeoned to death in his office. Police discover an eyelash of the real Vincent on the premises, making him the prime suspect. A paper cup used by Vincent is also found after he gave it to Caesar the cleaner.

Vincent must evade increasing security measures as his launch date approaches. Simultaneously, he becomes close to one of his co-workers, Irene Cassini. Although she is a "valid", Irene knows she will only ever be picked for lesser missions due to slightly elevated risk of heart failure. Romantically attracted to Vincent, she clandestinely has what she thinks is his DNA analyzed. The results confirm that he is out of her league, leaving her wistful, but Vincent makes it plain that he does not care about her genetics. Jerome (generally known as Eugene) also suffers from the burden of his genetic perfection; when he won only a silver medal in an important competition, he became increasingly depressed. While intoxicated, Jerome confesses that he did not have a car accident, but rather, had attempted suicide by jumping in front of a car, but only paralyzed himself from the waist down.

After numerous close calls, Vincent's identity is revealed to a shocked Irene. Yet Irene comes to see Vincent for who he is and accepts him. The murder investigation abruptly comes to a close with Mission Director Josef under arrest. The director reveals that he murdered the administrator because the victim was trying to cancel the Titan mission. As Vincent appears to be in the clear he is confronted by the youthful chief detective, who is revealed to be Anton. Anton accuses Vincent of fraud and asserts that Vincent is unworthy of his place at Gattaca. Vincent reminds Anton of how he has made it thus far solo and that it was Anton who needed saving before, not himself. Having rationalized the competition he lost, Anton challenges Vincent again. They swim out, where Anton asks Vincent how he beat him before. Vincent explains that he never saved anything for the swim back. Anton turns back first and Vincent, again, must rescue him from drowning.

As the day of the launch arrives, Jerome bids Vincent farewell. He reveals that he has stored enough genetic samples to last Vincent two lifetimes. Overwhelmed and grateful, Vincent thanks Jerome, but Jerome replies that it is he who should be grateful, since Vincent lent Jerome his dreams. Jerome gives Vincent a card but asks him not to open it until he reaches space. As Vincent moves through the Gattaca complex to the launch site, he is stopped for an unexpected last urine test. Vincent has not brought Jerome's fluids as he assumed there would be no more tests. The urine analysis uncovers Vincent's identity. However, the unperturbed Dr. Lamar, who for years has been asking Vincent during physical exams if he ever told Vincent the story of his own son, once again asks and this time goes on to tell it: His son admires Vincent and wants to be an astronaut despite a genetic defect that would rule him out. Lamar resets the test result, and tells Vincent to make his flight.

Jerome climbs inside his home incinerator, puts on his silver medal and lights the fire. The rocket lifts off with Vincent, and he opens the card from Jerome to find no words—just a hair sample. He is saddened to leave, despite never having a place in the world. He muses, "They say every atom in our bodies was once a part of a star. Maybe I'm not leaving; maybe I'm going home."

Jose Rizal Movie

Imprisoned in Fort Santiago under the abusive Spanish colonization, José Rizal (Cesar Montano) was approached by a young uneducated indio asking the importance of education during his life. Meanwhile, in Balintawak, Andrés Bonifacio (Gardo Versoza) and his fellow secret organization of Katipunan, commenced the uprising against the cruel tyranny created by the Spaniards by tearing their cedula as a sign of Spanish slavery.

Soon, a first lieutenant of the Artillery, Luis Taviel de Andrade (Jamie Fabregas), visited Rizal. Taviel de Andrade did not waste time to study carefully Rizal's case. In just a short period of time, Rizal and Taviel captured each other's sympathy and eventually became friends as they had usual meetings in Rizal's cell in Fort Santiago. Taviel was even able to celebrate Christmas with Rizal in the cell where they drank and sang together.

After Christmas, Rizal was sent to Royal Audiencia (the colonial court of appeal) to hear the trial against him. Soon after, the magistrates decided to condemn him under firing squad on the 30th of the morning in Luneta.

At the night before the execution, Rizal hallucinates, seeing his alter ego-protagonist Simoun of his novel El Filibusterismo tempting the author to change the climax of the story.

On the morning of the execution, his kin received a small alcohol stove (not a gas lamp as commonly portrayed) from his cell containing the last poem "Mi Ultimo Adios." Stopping at the place of execution facing the rising sun, Rizal asked the authorities for a last request as he faces the firing squad but the request is denied. Calm and without haste, he changed his request to save his head during execution and the captain agrees. At the moment the shooting squad points at his back, he readily uttered his final words: Consummatum est. (It is done.)

After the execution, members of the Katipunan had ambushed a Spanish military company somewhere in Manila, completely catching the Spanish forces off guard and seized their mounts, munitions and their rifles. They had also captured a church and executed a friar in an act of vengeance for the execution of Rizal. Bonifacio and his top generals met in their headquarters to plan a new offensive seeking to capture 10 towns in a duration of 1 week from the Spanish. Rizal's picture can be seen at the background of his headquarters.

Come Undone

Review of the Uploader: As much as I tried I could not upload "Edge of Seventeen" entirely, and I thought to myself that it`s not worthy to uphold a movie which it`s incomplete; however the bright side is that another movie is on. I present you my favorite movie which has a powerful emotional influence. It`s the story of two young boys that found themselves at the beginning of the real life Mathieu (Jeremie Elkaim) and Cedric (Stephane Rideau) who learn about a thing called Love, which has a great power of transformation and destruction for both of them. Their love is almost magical, warm nights under the stars, lustful quick glances, that feeling of knowing you are alive, they have it... But everything has to come to an end, and love is no exception. Enjoy of this (French) film and taste every minute of it!

Rock Haven

Brady (Sean Hoagland), a young, spiritual man, moves to the coastal seaside town of Rock Haven with his overprotective mother Marty (Laura Jane Coles), who is setting up a Christian school nearby. When Brady meets worldly, seductive Clifford (Owen Alabado) there is an instant attraction to each other, even though homosexuality conflicts with Bradys devoutly Christian beliefs. The film was shot on location in San Francisco and Bodega Bay. The movie is slowly paced, with numerous shots of the Northern California seascape.

Brady is a devout Christian who has moved with his mother from Kansas to Rock Haven, California. Soon after arriving, he sees a boy and is instantly attracted to him. He later discovers that the boy is Clifford, the son of his next door neighbor. Clifford and Brady quickly become friends and hang out together. Brady is obviously uncomfortable around girls, so Clifford teaches him some moves that may help him out. During one such session, Clifford feels Brady's crotch; Brady jumps away, and Clifford teases him that he is aroused. Brady avoids Clifford for a while, but then starts hanging out with him again. A little while later, Clifford kisses him and Brady flees. He later confronts Clifford about the fact that he is gay and the two of them avoid each other.

In the meantime, Brady is being set up by his mother with Peggy, a Christian girl who realizes that Brady is gay. While Brady and Clifford are on the outs, Peggy asks Brady if he has boy troubles, which Brady angrily denies. Eventually, Brady goes back to see Clifford and the two of them start kissing. Brady flees, confused by what is happening to him and torn between his religious beliefs and his strong feelings. He decides to go with his feelings and eventually sleeps with Clifford.

Brady's mom knows something is wrong, but can't figure out what it is. The night that Clifford and Brady sleep together, Brady had told her that he was being driven to a church sleepover by Peggy. When he gets back the next day, she tells him that Peggy was in a car accident and confronts him about what is happening. He tells her that he is gay and she reacts badly and pressures him into breaking up with Clifford. She also gets Brady to go to a camp to "fix" him. Clifford is heartbroken and goes to join his dad in Barcelona, but not before asking Brady to reconsider. Brady says he can't, but then goes home to his mother and refuses to go to the camp. She insists that he is making the biggest mistake of his life and he says that he already has. He tells her that he knows she won't agree with him, but asks for her love, to which she responds that he is always her son. He forgives her for what has happened, then hugs her as she weeps in his arms. The movie ends with him saying that the pain has not ended, but he has never been closer to God.

Love Actually, Sucks!

Love Actually... Sucks! is a 2011 Hong Kong movie, directed by Hong Kong Chinese film producer Scud (Danny Cheng Wan-Cheung. It was released at the 47th Chicago International Film Festival, in October 2011. It explores several themes traditionally regarded as 'taboo' in Hong Kong society, in an unusually open, convention-defying way, featuring frequent full-frontal male and female nudity, and is one of four such films by Scud. The three earlier ones are: City Without Baseball, released in 2008, Permanent Residence in 2009, and Amphetamine in 2010.

Love Actually... Sucks! was inspired by real-life events, and opens with a dramatic wedding feast. It tells a variety of stories about love that has gone wrong: a brother and sister in an illicit relationship, a married painter who falls in love with his young male life model, a dance school teacher who is besotted with his senior student, and a lesbian couple, one of whom has role-play paranoia, and is caught in a complex love triangle. The film celebrates the belief that life is love.

Permanent Residence

Permanent Residence 1/3 by AsianHorrorPortalAt the end of the video, click on Part 2, then Part 3.

Permanent Residence is a 2009 Hong Kong film starring Sean Li and Osman Hung, and directed by acclaimed Hong Kong Chinese film-maker Danny Cheng Wan-Cheung, whose stage name is Scud. It explores several themes traditionally regarded as 'taboo' in Hong Kong society, in an unusually open, convention-defying way, and is one of four such films by Scud. The three others are: City Without Baseball, released in 2008, Amphetamine in 2010, and his most recent, Love Actually... Sucks!, in 2011.

The film explores the near true-life story of a young Chinese man (said to be a semi-autobiography of the film's writer/producer), who seeks a long-term relationship with a straight friend. The friend is aware of his inclination, and is happy to befriend him, but is very reluctant to express open affection for him or to become emotionally involved.

Amphetamine Movie ( English Subtitle)

Kafka is straight while Daniel happens to be gay. The young men fall in love, believing that their love can bridge anything, despite their difference in sexuality and Kafka's drug-taking. Daniel does not regret his love for Kafka, who tries to love him back against his nature. But a flashback memory from Kafka's past makes it difficult for their relationship to work. It turns out that their addiction to love proves more fatal than the drugs they use to explore the boundaries of their friendship.

The film stars Hong Kong Chinese actor and former model Byron Pang (Cantonese: Pang Koon-Kei), who was a runner-up contestant for Mr. Hong Kong in 2005, and Thomas Price, a half Chinese-half British actor who appeared in Permanent Residence and City Without Baseball. Like Scud's previous films, Permanent Residence (made in 2009) and the earlier City Without Baseball (2008), Amphetamine features full-frontal male nudity in many scenes, in among others, an outdoor fight scene in which Pang is stripped naked by other guys, gym showers, and a leap from a public building, in which Pang wears 'wings', and his whole body is covered in calligraphy and silver paint.

Amphetamine examines the limit of passion, and is the second of a trilogy: the first, called Permanent Residence, examines the limit of life, while the third, known as Life of an Artist, examines the limits of art. Amphetamine was screened at the Berlin International Film Festival on 15 February 2010, and was also shown at the Hong Kong International Film Festival on its final day (6 April 2010). The third film has not yet been released.

Things come to a climax when Shane's elderly friend passes away and the botched drug run catches up with him. Vincent and Shane get arrested for drug possession in a Garda raid. Vincent panics as a drug conviction will end his dream of going to New York. Just as all seems lost the Garda on duty arrives and it's Vincent's married boyfriend. The charges are dismissed and both Vincent and Shane are released.

The death of Shane's friend and the incident with the Gardai force Shane to decide a change is warranted. Vincent encourages him to enter art school and the film ends with Vincent boarding a plane bound for New York while Shane enters art school.
